Frequently asked questions
Account, sign-in and two-step verification
Use the sign-in method associated with your account. Members can manage optional two-step verification in Settings > Security. Admin access still requires MFA and fresh verification for sensitive actions. If you cannot sign in, contact support with the email address on your account and the error you see. Never send passwords, recovery codes or verification codes.
Broker and exchange connections
Check that your connection uses the intended broker or exchange environment and only the permissions the connection requires. Review your connection log and the provider's own notices if an order or quote fails. Include the provider, symbol, approximate time and a redacted error in your support request. Do not send API secrets or private keys.
Billing, cancellation and refunds
Manage your subscription from Billing. Check the renewal date and cancellation confirmation so you know when changes take effect. For a refund question or a duplicate or erroneous charge, contact support with your account email and the charge date, not a full card number. Refund eligibility is governed by the applicable terms and your rights under law.
Can I get a refund?
Review the Refund Policy, effective October 23, 2026, for the non-refundable subscription terms, the discretionary first-charge courtesy request and statutory exceptions. Until that date, the current Terms and Subscription Agreement apply. Email support@tradeshieldlabs.com with your account email and charge date to ask about eligibility.
Read the Refund PolicyData export and deletion requests
Contact support to request an export or ask about deleting account data. We may need to verify ownership before providing data or making account changes. Read the Privacy Policy for information about your rights, retention and any limits that apply. Sending a support request does not itself delete your account or records.
What TradeShield does not do
TradeShield is not a broker, exchange, custodian or investment adviser. Its information is educational, not personalized financial advice. Safety checks and automation controls are best-effort and cannot guarantee execution or prevent losses. Market data may be delayed, and paper results are simulated rather than a prediction of live outcomes. Read the trading disclaimer before making decisions.
